As I thought about the above quotation, I found that Bravery comes in many guises. For most of us, it is taking the difficult road. For some that may be taking a new job, perhaps in a distant city. For some, it is doing what is right, not what is easy. We usually don't consider those actions as 'brave', but they are. If we look back I would venture a guess that many of the best things in our lives came from these times.

Terence, the author, was a Roman slave who became a successful playwright.

wwII_memorial.jpg (4694 bytes) The National World War II Memorial will be the first national memorial dedicated to all who served during World War II. The memorial will honor all military veterans of the war, the citizens on the home front, the nation at large, and the high moral purpose and idealism that motivated the nation's call to arms.
